A PRAYER FOR SENIORS
As director of the Providence College Parent & Family Program, I send my congratulations to all the families of our graduating seniors.
Commencement is a special occasion for the College and students, as well as for family and friends. It is a time to celebrate, as your students get ready for the next chapter in their lives. As they join our alumni ranks, please know that you too, will always be a member of our PC family.
It has been a privilege getting to know and connect with so many of you during the last four years. I truly appreciate the opportunities I have had to address your concerns, answer your questions, or just listen to your stories.
Fr. Mark Nowel, Associate Provost for Academic Policy and Mission Support, as well as a dear friend and colleague, has prepared a special prayer for our graduating seniors, that I am pleased to share with all of you.
God Bless.
Jackie
“Heavenly Father, as we come to this important transition in the life of the child you gave us to love and guide, we want to thank You for the graces You have given them during these years at PC.
Thank you for sending your guardian angels to get them over the bumps and bruises they have encountered and thank you for expanding their horizons and helping them navigate their way. We ask you to continue to travel with them as they make their way in the world. Help them to continue to feel Your providential care.
We make this prayer, humbly and gratefully, in the name of Your glorious and risen Son, Jesus our Lord. Amen.”
